Come to Bali for your holidays

Two brand new, double, en-suite rooms are now available at Rumah Jepun, Ubud – in the cultural heart of Bali.

These very centrally located rooms (River View and Lotus View) have air conditioning, wifi, western style bathrooms, use of a fridge and include breakfast and cleaning.

Or try our brand new, deluxe, Waterfall Room with 2 waterfalls (one in the bathroom) as well as a four poster bed.

The rooms are modern yet have many traditional Balinese touches, including beautiful hand carved Bali style doors and interesting, locally bought, lighting.

Walk down some steps and along a leaf imprinted pathway to the house and it’s delightful garden.

Papaya, mango, avocado and banana trees nestle among an array of tropical flowers… lotus flowers in the pond, delicate orchids hanging from stone walls, colourful bougainvillea and many jepun (where the name ‘Rumah Jepun’ comes from – it means: frangipani tree).

Nature can be heard in the sound of the river and in the song of the birds.  Butterflies and dragonflies are also daily visitors.

You can sit on your private ground floor balcony or maybe have a cup of coffee or tea next to the river on a bale (gazebo) with an alang alang (thatch) roof.

Even before the rooms were finished 3 bookings had been made, so let us know, asap, what dates you can come so we can reserve you a room for your peaceful and relaxing holiday experience!

One of the places to see before you die ! Go to Bali the most wonderful place but go inland to the cultural heart and see views and sights unparalleled elsewhere. Stay with Julie – I can recommend a great time.
